The 3rd LUGANO CHALLENGE EPEE

Dear Presidents and fencing Teachers,Dear fencing Friends, Lugano Scherma is pleased to invite you to the 2010-2011 season's first epee competition, the 3rd LUGANO CHALLENGE EPEE.

The competition will take place on Sept. 11th and 12th, 2010 at the City of Lugano Exposition Center where we will have 41 tracks.

To the 3rd LUGANO CHALLENGE, international men and women epee competition can participate athletes of the following categories:

- Benjamins (born after 1999 included) Swiss Youth National Circuit first tournament

- Minimes (born after 1997 included) Swiss Youth National Circuit first tournament

- Cadets (born after 1994 included) Swiss National Team selection tournament

- Juniors (born after 1991 included) Swiss National Team selection tournament

- Open international tournament (born before 1996 included)

- Master 1Men (+40) Swiss Veterans National Circuit first tournament

- Master 2 Men (+50) Swiss Veterans National Circuit first tournament

- Master 3+4 Men (+60 single category) Swiss Veterans National Circuit first tournament

- Master Women (single category) Swiss Veterans National Circuit first tournament

The Cadets and Juniors competitions are the year first selection tournament for Swiss athletes, therefore all the best young Swiss fencers will participate.

We already have confirmations from Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and USA.

The categories are scheduled to allow to all athletes during the week-end to participate to 2 competitions, their own categories and the next one above or the open tournament. To the open competition can participate only athletes born before 1994 included.
